Wattzo co-founder among SEB's ten young entrepreneurs awarded innovation grants
Wattzo was named among the top 10 Swedish young startups by SEB and FUHS, as part of SEB's annual program supporting research-based startups from Swedish university holding companies. The recognition supports Wattzo's move from research to full-scale commercialisation.
Wattzo's co-founders were selected as winners of SKAPA-talang Värmland 2026, one of Sweden's most prestigious innovation awards, established in memory of Alfred Nobel. The win advances Wattzo to represent Värmland at the national SKAPA Innovationsmingel final at Tekniska museet in Stockholm on November 12, 2026.
Wattzo is supported by Glava Energy Center, Sweden's largest test bed and innovation center for solar energy and sustainable energy systems, based in Värmland. The collaboration connects Wattzo to a network of nearly 90 members spanning industry, academia, and the public sector working on the region's energy transition.
